The food hall opened in May 2024 with nine of its eleven stalls
The Great Southern Box Co. Food Hall soft-opened Friday, May 24, 2024 at 2105 N. Orange Blossom Trail — 13,000 square feet with nine of eleven vendor spots operating at launch, among them Antica Wood Fired Pizza, Kabob2Go, A Lo Cubano, Braza Orlando, Kayos Jamaican Grill, Dancing Yeti, Eighty Twenty, Raj Express and Stack’d Brownies, around a full-service central bar. Orange County Brewers planned a 3,000-square-foot craft brewery to follow. Chef Akhtar Nawab and Hospitality HQ curated the vendor lineup for master developer Dr. Phillips Charities.

The Packing District: first phases open, office building wrapping up, 331 more homes proposed
The Packing District is no longer a rendering — the food hall, Publix, YMCA, tennis center and two apartment communities are open, and the climbing gym that opened last August is hosting the 2026 national championships. Dr. Phillips Charities' 40,000-square-foot office building at Princeton and Orange Blossom Trail is finishing construction, with a full floor set aside for nonprofits. The newest move: Charlotte-based Crosland Southeast filed plans in July for 331 market-rate apartments and townhomes plus ground-floor retail at Princeton Commerce Center, though that deal isn't finalized yet.

The Packing District: the four-story office at Princeton & OBT is wrapping up
GrowthSpotter reported July 16 that Welbro Building Corp. was finishing construction on the district's Class-A office building at Princeton Street and Orange Blossom Trail, with a partial certificate of occupancy expected that month. The same report puts Crosland Southeast's residential filing next door at 303 apartments (40 studios, 134 one-bedrooms, 113 two-bedrooms, 16 three-bedrooms) plus 17,080 square feet of retail — and notes the deal with Dr. Phillips Charities hasn't been finalized.
